Marie-Pier Brousseau’s 15-year career in aesthetics and electrolysis has not been short on accomplishments and accolades, that’s for sure. Proficient in laser, microdermabrasion, thermocoagulation and chemical peels, she is in high demand as an instructor and speaker on electro- and photoepilation. Marie-Pier holds a certificate from the International Committee of Aesthetics and Cosmetology (CIDESCO) and also a bachelor’s degree in education from the Université du Québec (UQAR) in Rimouski (Quebec).

Passionate about her craft and profession, Mrs. Brousseau has spent 4 years teaching the 1300 hours aesthetics program in Edmonton (Alberta), before joining Dectro International as an international instructor. Doron Heichal is the Clinical Director of DermaSpark, a Biomedical Engineer by training, and a skin enthusiast by passion. As the head of DermaSpark’s clinical team, he is responsible for developing and delivering education & training programs for medical-aesthetic professionals all over Canada.

He is most passionate about exploring the interactions between technology and skin and promoting evidence-based education in the Canadian Aesthetic market. Elena Maiorova is an Award-winning Nail Technician (Canada Nail Cup 2017, Nailympia 2019), Akzentz Certified Educator (ACE) and the Founder/Art Director of EURONAILS.

Having worked in the Nail industry for over 18 years, she has carried her passion for the aesthetics of the perfect manicure and incorporated her knowledge and extensive experience into running her business. Presently, Elena is focused on creating learning opportunities for new and established Nail Technicians to take the next step in their nail game.

Her students get exposure to advanced nail techniques related to the authentic Russian Manicure, and also get opportunity to learn from a variety of topics including the technical side of gel manicures, excellence in service delivery and her pro tips for nail technicians of all levels.

Tanya has been involved in the esthetics industry for many years. As a graduate of George Brown’s Esthetics Program she joined the College, initially in an administrative role and later as an instructor in the esthetics program and then the medical esthetics program. Shelley started out in the beauty industry in 1996 as a pedicurist and gel nail technician and has been actively working as an Advanced Educator since 2005. Throughout the years, Shelley’s role involved educating new and advanced technicians, as well as creating and updating curriculum for the Amore Ultima Beginner Nail Technician program. More recently, she designed the Pedicure Basics and Infection Control, Principles and Practices workshops for Impact Salon Sales. Shelley believes in continuous mentorship as an integral part of every education platform.

In 2020, Shelley completed the Certified Master Pedicurist, Infection Control, and Comprehensive Foot & Leg Evaluation certifications. Currently Shelley teaches the NASP Certified Master Pedicurist program for Western Canada.

Shelley also owns and operates a Podology studio located in Stony Plain, Alberta. Offering more than just pedicures, Shelley is dedicated to providing focused therapeutic solutions with care, attention, and empathy; so clients can feel educated in the well-being and maintenance of their lower limbs and feet.

Milada Prokopyeva began her career as a nurse and midwife. She has been working in the beauty field since 1996 and currently owns  3 renowned salons located in Montreal, Ile-des-Sœurs and Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.
