Janine is the Brand and Business Development Manager for several award-winning locations of Zazou Salon and Academy located in North Vancouver, BC. Zazou’s mission is to be community focused and globally minded. Janine has a background in business, marketing and leadership and has worked in the industry for over 16 years. Janine’s core focus is on the growth of the business through hiring and creative marketing campaigns.
A key accomplishment was to become the first Carbon Neutral hair salon in Metro Vancouver. Janine is particularly passionate about sharing tools and strategies to help foster a strong culture, grow the team both personally and professionally and mentor future industry leaders.
Her knowledge comes from her own experience, continued education, various coaches over the years and attending conferences all over the world including countries such as Italy, Iceland, and Portugal. Janine believes in growing people and providing an exceptional experience for both external guests and internal guest…the team!
Her ultimate goal is to help elevate the industry and the communities she works in. By sharing best practices, Janine hopes to continue to help others grow and be the most successful version of themselves.
