After graduating from Laval University in 2007, Dr. Danielle Brassard pursued specialized studies in dermatology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal. She was then admitted to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2013. Dr. Brassard gained extensive experience practicing in various locations, including Cornwall, Ontario; Joliette, Quebec; and the Sacré-Coeur Hospital in Montreal; before establishing herself at Clinique D in Laval in 2015.
Dr. Brassard practices medical dermatology with a special interest in phototherapy, skin cancer surgery, and biological therapy for conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. Dr. Brassard is actively engaged in research projects in these areas. As a principal investigator, with over eight years of experience in observational studies, she is currently involved in randomized controlled trials evaluating new products.
Dr. Brassard also practices cosmetic dermatology, which includes dermal filler injections, Botox, and laser procedures.
Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Brassard has been applying her extensive medical knowledge as a practicing dermatologist since 2015. She is sought after in the media and legal contexts as a leading expert in cosmetic procedures. Dr. Brassard is an evaluating physician and internship supervisor accredited by the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ).
Furthermore, she contributes to the dissemination of knowledge through seminars and conferences on therapeutic approaches to acne, chronic hand eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, and rosacea.
